About PDSP Training
- This 10-hour course is designed to prevent injury to healthcare workers who need to move patients.
- Upon successful completion of the course (mandatory attendance) and exam, students will receive a certification in PDSP.

Hands-on Training
Accredited by the Association paritaire pour la santé et la sécurité du travail du secteur affaires sociales (ASSTSAS), the training will provide healthcare workers with the knowledge and skills required to protect their physical wellbeing when helping patients with transfers.
Skills
Analyze the components of different situations or client movements and identify corrective measures for deficient or unsafe aspects.
Performs moving tasks in a safe manner and with the appropriate level of assistance.
Select safe and effective methods (for the caregiver and client) based on the possibilities and limitations of the work situation.
Provide clear and appropriate instructions to partners (clients or colleagues) to optimize their contribution to the move.
Sharing relevant safety information with team members.
